Son of jewelry store owner who killed 3 robbery suspects
HOUSTON An outpouring of well wishes and generosity from strangers across the country has helped the family of a local jewelry store owner get through some of the hardest days they ve seen.Castillo s father, Ramon, Pandora Valentine's Day Rings was seriously injured last week in a shootout with a trio of robbery suspectsat his jewelry store in east Houston. He was still recovering in the Texas Medical Center Wednesday, but his condition was upgraded to fair.Ramon Castillo was shot in the legs, shoulder and stomach by the suspects, who stormed his store in a brazen afternoon holdup.But the suspects apparently picked the wrong target, Pandora Valentine's Day because the robbery cost them their lives.Police said two of Pandora Valentine's Day Collection the men walked in and pretended like they wanted to make a purchase.
